I am passionate about this work. I communicate effectively and have a genuine curiosity about people and how they think and experience their lives. One of the most important things I bring to my clients – is the ability to quickly ‘get it’ – about who they are, how they are experiencing life and what is going on for them.
I have been counseling people all my life. I am compassionate, non-judgmental and discreet.
I create a safe container and bring empathy and compassion to everyone I greet. I’m a good listener, and I approach everyone as the unique individual that they are. I’m not a one-size-fits-all or systems/methods person. I’m very skilled at meeting you where you are, and together figuring out how I can be of most benefit. I’m not big on labels but understand the complexities and nuances of a wide range of human conditions.
There are many testimonials here that will give you the truest sense of who I am, and what I can offer you.
I hold a Masters of Arts degree in a creative arts discipline. I was a CEO of a tech-start-up for 12 years. I’ve been the board chair of an arts-non-profit and served on the boards of alternative health, arts and technology themed non-profits and businesses. I have worked as a consultant for a variety of non-profit and for-profit organizations. I have been coaching and counseling people from all walks of life for many years. These experiences have allowed me to work with many people in many walks of life. I have a deep sense of the varied challenges people face both personally and professionally.
In addition to my professional and creative experiences, I am well versed in philosophy, religion, yoga, meditation, mindfulness and alternative health and wellness. I came to these disciplines as a result of seeking to understand myself and navigate my own life as I worked through the common challenges of money, health, love, relationships, purpose, motivation, and the overwhelm that can at times be the world we inhabit.
I believe my greatest strength is helping people navigate who they are, how they feel and experience, and the various relationships that have and do impact their emotions and lives.
